Read More	Evelyn Irene Boysen-Wubbena, 94, of Waverly, Iowa, and formerly of Janesville, died on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the Clarksville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Evelyn was born on February 16, 1927, in Janesville, Iowa, the daughter of Forrest John and Bessie Marion (Benjamin) Bloker. She attended the Janesville school system, graduating in 1947, from the Janesville High School. Following her schooling she worked at Lawn City Bakery and then at Henke Manufacturing Company. In 1947, Evelyn was united in marriage to Forrest Boysen and the couple made their home on a farm east of Janesville for ten years. The couple then moved to Dike and lived on the home farm for two years before moving into town. The couple then bought an acreage northeast of Waverly. Evelyn worked for Disco Drug for one year and then worked at Schultz Variety Store for 12 ½ years. Evelyn then babysat for her grandchildren/great grandchildren for several years. Forrest died in 1974. in 1982, Evelyn was united in marriage to Vern Wubbena. Vern died in 1989. In 1990, Evelyn moved into Waverly, later moving into the Waverly Homes. In April of 2018, Evelyn became a resident of the Clarksville Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center. Evelyn loved collecting anything to do with cardinals, attending garage sales, and playing cards. She especially loved her cat Merry. Her pride and joy was her family. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Rebecca "Becky" (Russ) Buhrow of Waverly, Iowa; three grandchildren, Tammy (Matthew) Treloar of Waverly; Joshua (Jill) Buhrow of Waverly; Heather (Kody) Breitbach of Allison; her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Madelyn (Kyle), Carter, Summer, Jasmine (Chase), Zachary, and Nichole; and her great-great grandchildren, Kadence, Ashton, Maisie, Thomas, Gabriel, and Odin. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Bessie; her husbands, Forrest and Vern; an infant daughter, Diane in 1950; son David Boysen in 1999, her son-in-law, Rich Buhrow in 2008; her brothers and sisters; and a great-great grandchild, Thomas in 2019. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 8, 202, at the Janesville United Methodist Church with Pastor Ron Bupp officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Janesville. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly. Memorials may be directed to Clarksville Nursing and Rehab and Rehabilitation Center. Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly is assisting the family.
