Description	:	Evelyn M. Fitzner, 51, of Emmetsburg, died Wednesday, July 2, 1997, at St. Luke's Medical Center, Sioux City, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on June 30. Her husband, August Fitzner and son, Raffy San Jose, also died in this automobile accident. Her son was a 15 year old student at Emmetsburg High School. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 6, at The Martin-Mattice Funeral Home in Emmetsburg. Sayo was born June 20, 1946, in Manilla, Philippines, the daughter of Delfin and Socorro (Maclit) Sayo. She married Roberto San Jose in the Philippines. Roberto later died. She was employed in quality control for Adidas for 20 years. She married Arlie Howard Copeland and together came to the United States in September of 1994 and made their home in Algona, where she was employed at Nick's Restaurant. Arlie preceded her in death on December 14, 1994. She moved to Emmetsburg in 1996 and was employed at SNC. She married to August Karl Fitzner on March 15, 1997, in Emmetsburg. Both her husband August Fitzner and her son, Raffy San Jose, died from injuries sustained in the automobile accident on June 30. Surviving are one daughter, Rowena San Jose of Emmetsburg; two sons, Robelito San Jose and Roxell San Jose, both of the Philippines; and her mother, Socoro Sayo of the Philippines. She was preceded in death by her father, her three husbands, Roberto San Jose, Arlie Copeland and August Fitzner and one son, Raffy San Jose. Emmetsburg Reporter, July 8, 1997 and July 3, 1997
