She was preceded in death by her parents; an aunt who took care of Evelyn since she was 2 years old, Anna Weissenburger; and two brothers-in-law, Wesley Strong and Valden Neidermeyer. Funeral services were held Jan. 21, at the United Methodist Church in Syracuse, NE.
