Everett August Lillich was born Feb. 1, 1920 at Carleton, Neb., to Otto and Ella (Heinrichs) Lillich. He married Evalin Vieselmeyer Sept. 21, 1941 at Ruskin St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Enlisted in the Air Force June 19, 1942, serving from 1943 to 1945 in Ipswich, England. He was a Master Sergeant receiving the Air Offensive Europe medal, Good Conduct medal, distinguished unit badge, Silver Star, Bronze Star for raids over Berlin, northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, Central Europe and Normandy Invasion. Everett August Lillich was born Feb. 1, 1920 at Carleton, Neb., to Otto and Ella (Heinrichs) Lillich. He married Evalin Vieselmeyer Sept. 21, 1941 at Ruskin St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Enlisted in the Air Force June 19, 1942, serving from 1943 to 1945 in Ipswich, England. Following return from the Air Force, Everett and brothers-in-law, Marwin and Erwin Vieselmeyer, started Superior-Deshler Propane business. They later had plants in Deshler, Superior, Edgar, Davenport, Belleville, Nelson and Hastings. Everett managed Edgar plant from 1950-1960. In 1953 he started Ace Gas Company. The family moved to Superior in 1960 where he managed the Superior plant. Surviving are wife, Evalin, Superior; daughter, Debra (Milan) Hansen, Lincoln; son, Gary (Pam) Lillich, York; son-in-law, Allen (Jeannie) Lipker, Superior; brothers, Kenneth, Shreveport, La., Melvin (Arlene) Lillich, Deshler; sister, Ines (Eddie) Buntemeyer, Deshler; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Preceded by parents; brother, Earl; daughter, Sandra Lipker. Funeral services were held March 8, Superior's Centennial Lutheran Church, Pastor Paul Albrecht officiating. Burial with military honors at Superior Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.wmsfh.com. Williams Funeral Home, Superior, has charge of arrangements.
