Jessie Naomi, John Everett, Fern Marie, Beth Maxine and Kenneth Erastus McClannahan. Sadly, Mrs. McClannahan passed away, in 1911. He married Margaret E. Jessie Naomi, John Everett, Fern Marie, Beth Maxine and Kenneth Erastus McClannahan. Sadly, Mrs. McClannahan passed away, in 1911. He married Margaret E. Spurlin, the daughter of Ira S. & Amanda Holloway Spurlin, on February 17, 1912. She assisted him in the running of the farm and the raising of the younger children. The couple were the parents of a son, Q. Spurlin McClannahan. E.E. was widowed, for the second time, on August 20, 1948. E.E. married Hattie Luella (nee Geith) Russell, in January of 1949, in Logan, Iowa. She was the daughter of Frederick & Amanda Amelia Koehn Geith and the widow of Joseph J. Russell. Mrs. Hattie McClannahan passed away, in 1961. Mr. McClannahan was a successful farmer. In addition, he was active within the Mondamin District and was a leader in both social and civic circles. He served as a church Sunday School Superintendent, Secretary of the Board of Education for the Mondamin Consolidated School, Board of Directors of the local bank and the Co-op Elevator.
