Description	:	Born September 3, 1911, in Burlington, Iowa, he was the son of James Henry and Theodora Anne Lodwick Burchett. He married Veleta A. Roberts on May 25, 1934, in Keokuk, Iowa. He resided in Wyaconda, Missouri, for 30 years before moving to Keokuk in 1992. He was employed as an electrician at Keokuk Electro Metals for 20 years, then at Martin Electric in Keokuk for 19 years. Read More	Born September 3, 1911, in Burlington, Iowa, he was the son of James Henry and Theodora Anne Lodwick Burchett. He married Veleta A. Roberts on May 25, 1934, in Keokuk, Iowa. Burchett, Jr.; two daughters: Arlene Hansen and Mary McGee; one niece, Joann Fabac; one nephew, Gary Burchett; 11 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three grandsons. Funeral Services were held Monday, February 17, 1997, at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, Iowa, with Pastor Charles Dye officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk, Iowa. Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk was in charge of arrangements.
