Born October 26, 1904, at Pine Bluff, he was a son of the late Edward C. and Pearl West Stanley. A technician, he worked for Wilcox Amusement Company and was a member of Olive Street Baptist Church. Survivors include three brothers, Edward C. Stanley Jr. and Horace E. Stanley, both of Pine Bluff and John T. Stanley of Boulder, Colarado; and four sisters, Ruby Baugh and Goldie Lewis, both of Pine Bluff, Florence Decker of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Pearlie Childress of Little Rock. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Hale-South Funeral Home with Mack Chambers officiating. Burial will be in Fitzhugh Cemetery at Sulphur Springs. Visitation is scheduled for today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Hale-South. Memorials may be made to Olive Street Baptist Church. The family will be at West 36th Avenue.
