Description	:	Uncle Everett was the oldest of Frank and Maggie Lisle's children. In his early years, he lived with his parents and siblings then went to Wayne State Teacher's College in Wayne where he got a teacher's certificate in the early 1930's. He even taught his younger siblings at the local school in Clark Center. He traveled out to California in the late 1930's to see his sisters Florence and Thel, to Omaha and other locales to visit friends. Before joining the Army in 1942, he went to Alaska to visit his sister Florence and her husband. ... Read More	Uncle Everett was the oldest of Frank and Maggie Lisle's children. In his early years, he lived with his parents and siblings then went to Wayne State Teacher's College in Wayne where he got a teacher's certificate in the early 1930's. He even taught his younger siblings at the local school in Clark Center. He traveled out to California in the late 1930's to see his sisters Florence and Thel, to Omaha and other locales to visit friends. Before joining the Army in 1942, he went to Alaska to visit his sister Florence and her husband. In Florida, shortly after he joined the Army, he married a Nebraska women for the duration of the war. He was stationed in England and traveled throughout the UK on his leaves: those Davidson's still in Aspatria, his brother-in-laws relation in Yorkshire and London, and several fun trips including Edinburgh, Sct. After the war, he and his wife divorced. Everett never remarried. For a several years, he lived in Boulder, Colorado where he raised chickens. His sister, Florence and her family joined him for a year. He worked on the farm previously owned by his Aunt Ethel and Uncle Ruhle as an egg producer. Eventually, he went down to Texas near where two of his sisters lived. He worked with a garden company becoming a valued employee. He was a tall, quiet man, who exuded confidence. He loved to travel and was in touch with his siblings and other family members throughou his life. EM was the 'go to' person for family news. Eventually, diabetes and a heart problem overcame him and he ended up for a few day in a nursing home before he died. He is sorely missed by his family and friends.
