Description	:	Everette E. Van Note, 65, died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, in St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minn., from complications of lung reduction surgery. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, First Lutheran Church, Manchester, by the Rev. Tom Jones. The family will greet friends from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home, Manchester. Burial: Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Ryan, with military rites. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Cory Eschen of North Liberty and Chad Eschen of Masonville; 13 stepgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and his first wife, Mildred. Everette was born Nov. 14, 1933, in Winthrop to Brazil "Bay" and Louise Beamer Van Note. He married Mildred "Midge" Crouse on May 26, 1937. She died July 4, 1986. He then married Marilyn K. Bright on Jan. 29, 1990, in Burlington. Everette served in the Army. He was a member of the Community Club of Masonville; Pork and Beef Producers; Fair and Dairy boards; and the Lamont American Legion Post 346. He farmed most of his life and we especially remember his love of the farm, animals and all his Grannies. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and grandfather to all who loved him.
