He moved with his parents to Iowa county, Iowa, in 1855. In 1873 he was married to Miss Jennie Markwell of North English, Iowa. Read More	Clay County Sun (Obituary) EZRA ORAN BROWN Ezra Oran Brown was born at Hancock county, Ohio, June 14, 1847. He departed this life July 11, 1932, aged 85 years and 27 days. He moved with his parents to Iowa county, Iowa, in 1855. In 1873 he was married to Miss Jennie Markwell of North English, Iowa. To this union were born two children, Etta Stephenson of Wanblee, South Dakota, and Nelson Brown of Fairfield, Nebraska. With his family he moved from Iowa in the fall of 1876 to the homestead two miles south of Clay Center, Nebraska. In 1917 he moved to his residence in Fairfield where he has lived till June 4, at which time he was moved to the home of his son to be cared for in his declining days. He is the youngest of his immediate family and the last to depart this earth life. Besides his two children he leaves 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and many friends. Funeral services were conducted July 12 at the home of Nelson Brown by L.O. Huitt of the Fairfield Christian Church. Internment was made in the local cemetery.
