The funeral services will be held Monday morning at ten o'clock from the late residence and burial made at the Shaul cemetery. --------------- Obituary From "Ottumwa Tri-Weekly Courier," Tuesday, February 28, 1911, Page 4: DEATHS PENROD–Saturday, February 25, 1911, at 8 a.m., at the home of his son, Edward Penrod, on Clarence street, Ezra Penrod, on Clarence street, Ezra Penrod, aged 72 years. The deceased was a veteran of the civil war, serving with Company C, Seventh Iowa cavalry. He enlisted at Douds-Leando. He had made Ottumwa his residence for many years. He leaves two sons, William of Kentucky and Edward of this city, and one daughter, Mrs. Alice Taterow [sic] of Concordia, Kas. His died wife about sixteen years ago. Funeral services were held from the Edward Penrod residence on Clarence street, this morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. E.W. Farris Holler, assistant pastor of the First Presbyterian church, conducted the services. Interment was made in the Shaul cemetery.
