Description	:	F. Hilding Pearson, 99, of Wall Lake, Iowa, formerly of Odebolt, died Tuesday, April 12, 1994, at Twilight Acres Care Center in Wall Lake. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 1994, at Faith Lutheran Church in Odebolt, with Rev. Victor Johnson officiating. Masonic services were held on Saturday by Wheeler Lodge 397 A.F. & A.M. of Odebolt. Music was provided by congregational singing and organist Margaret Buller. Mr. Pearson was born September 29, 1894, in Skara, Sweden, the son of Frank and Josephine (Holm) Pearson. He came to the United States and to Arthur in 1909 and moved south of Odebolt in 1937. He farmed in the Odebolt and Wall Lake areas for many years. He moved to Twilight Acres in November 1987. Mr. Pearson was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and Wheeler Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Odebolt. Survivors include a sister, Martha Pearson of Wall Lake; two nieces; Arlene and her husband, Ray Hutchinson of Denver, Colorado, and Carol Ann and her husband, Joe Leslie, of Berwick, Iowa; and four nephews: Dennis and his wife, Julie Johnson, of Lincoln, Nebraska, Jim and his wife, Julie Lundell, and Vance Lundell, all of Kiron, and Andy and his wife, Nancy Pearson of Omaha, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Carrie Huldeen, Esther Johnson and Ellen Lundell; and five brothers: Carl, Oscar, Arthur, Julius, and Andy Pearson. Memorials have been established in his name with Faith Lutheran Church in Odebolt and Twilight Acres Care Center in Wall Lake. Taken from The Chronicle 21 Apr 1994.
