Read More	The Edgar Sun (Edgar, NE) Fri, Apr 15, 1932 - pg 1 Mrs Fred Mau Dies in Sutton April Third Fannie Bell Conn was born in Clay county (sic), Nebr., Dec 15, 1889 and died at her home in Sutton April 3, 1932. Her father died Feb 13, 1898 and her mother passed away January 24, 1907, when she was eighteen years of age. She then kept house for her brother Sam Conn, until April 18, 1910, when she was united in marriage to Fred Mau of Sutton, Nebr. They lived at Sutton for several years, then moved to a farm near Edgar, then to a farm near Ong and later moved to Sutton. They lived on a farm near Harvard when they lost their house by fire and then again moved to Sutton where she lived until her death. To this union were born three children, two daughters and one son, Marie, Paul and Donna. The youngest daughter is five years of age. For two years Mrs Mau has been in poor health. Doctors combined their skill to keep the stream of life from ebbing away but to no avail. No expense or work were spared by her husband and daughters, who were at her bedside to bring back the health that was so rapidly waning. She was a patient sufferer an waited uncomplainingly her fate until the hand of death releived (sic) her of suffering. She will be missed. Realizing that her time on this earth was brief she bade her family good-bye a week before going and at the last moment, repeated her farewell. She leaves her husband, three children, two sisters, Mrs C. E. Woodhead of Edgar and Mrs M. V. Pickard of Sutton; two brothers, Elmer Conn of Oxford, Nebr., and Sam Conn of Fort Benton, Montana. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the M. E. church (sic) at Sutton at 2:30 o'clock conducted by Rev Lapthorn, pastor of the Sutton M. E. church (sic). The choir sang beautiful songs. Several pretty floral offerings covered the casket. Relatives spoke a desire to take flowers, but she had expressed her wish that not so many flowers be contributed. She made most of the arrangements and they were carried out as far as possible to her wishes. Relatives, who attended the funeral from out-of-town were, Elmer Conn and wife, Mr and Mrs Sherman Sweet, Oxford, Nebr.; Mr and Mrs C. E. Woodhead and Orville of Edgar, Mr and Mrs Wm. Mau of Bixby, Mr and Mrs Martin Mau of Harvard, Mr and Mrs Bob Otis of Lincoln. Interment was made in the Sutton cemetery. ----contributed.
