Description	:	Fannie Jamison Martin, first child of Lucian and Louise Jamison, was born May 19, 1887, in DeKalb county, Illinois, and passed away June 16, 1964, in the Ringgold county hospital at Mt. Ayr. She was 77 years and 28 days of age. She, with her parents, moved to the Evergreen neighborhood near Lamont when a small girl and spent her early years in that com-munity. Ayr. She was 77 years and 28 days of age. She, with her parents, moved to the Evergreen neighborhood near Lamont when a small girl and spent her early years in that com-munity. She attended school in Lamoni and later was enrolled at Grateland college. Later she taught several years in the rural schools of Decatur and Ringgold counties She was baptized and became a member of the Methodist church when a girl and had been a de-voted worker in the church ever since, having served as pianist in her present church school for many years. until recent months. On Dec 25, 1912, she was united in marriage to Art L. Martin; most of their married life was spent on farms in Harrison county, Missouri, and Decatur and Ringgold counties. They moved to Tingley, Iowa, in 1957 where they have since resided. Although blessed with no children of their own, they look a daughter, Ruby into their home at the age of four. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Harrison Jamison, and a great-granddaughter. She is survived by her husband, Art; her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kneedler of Wenatchee, Wash; two grandchildren, Gary and Patricia Matinog, both of Wenatchee, Wash; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Sadie Barnes of femme; two brothers, Delos of Alysham, Saskatchewan. and Dewey of Scio, Ore; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Friday, June I9, at the Tingley Methodist church with the Rev. Sam E. Bowser officiating. Burial was in Lamoni's Rose Hill cemetery.
