She was born June 17, 1911, in Lockhart, a daughter of the late John and Rachel Childers. She was predeceased by two brothers, Harry and Charlie Childers. She was a member of the Lockhart Church of God. Read More	Fannie Mae Childers, 74, of Spartanburg Convalescent Home, died Saturday, August 18, 1984 after a long illness. She was born June 17, 1911, in Lockhart, a daughter of the late John and Rachel Childers. She was predeceased by two brothers, Harry and Charlie Childers. She was a member of the Lockhart Church of God. Surviving are: a son, Gene Childers of Woodruff; three sisters, Mary Shrader of Lockhart, Ella Crocker of Pineville, N.C. and Lucy Freeman of Greensboro, N.C.; four brothers, Walter Childers of Woodruff, Luther Childers of Hickory Grove, Willie and Mason Childers both of Lockhart. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Monday 4 p.m. at the Lockhart Church of God by the Revs. Edwin Huggins and Boyce Harrison. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the services. Burial will be the Mount Tabor Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 p.m. at Lanford Funeral Home. The family is at the home of a brother, Walter Childers, 206 Irby Street, Woodruff.
