Description	:	Obituary Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed church here at 1:30 p.m. Saturday for Mrs. Fanny Ruys, 72, longtime resident of Sioux Center vicinity, who passed away October 4 at Cherokee. Services were conducted by the Rev. B. J. Haan and burial was made in the Sioux Center Community cemetery under the direction of Co-operative Funeral Service. She came to Sioux county with her parents in 1910 and on January 25, 1911, she was married to Ernest Ruys. The couple made their home on a farm near Sioux Center for 49 years. Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Irene (Mrs. Neal M. Punt) of Sioux Center; five brothers, John of South Glastonburg, Conn., Henry and Albert of Sioux Center, Samuel of Storm Lake and Gerald of Hollywood, Fla.; and one sister, Mrs. Ben B.
