Mrs. Hilbert was born on November 28, 1928 in Mathias, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Irvin Grant and Roxie Shipe See. She was employed by HD Lee Sewing, Rockingham Poultry and retired from the Timberville Drug Store. She was a member of the VFW Brocks Gap 9660 Ladies Auxiliary, the senior citizens in Singers Glen and the Independent Community Church. Read More	Faye Darlene See Hilbert, 86, of Singers Glen, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Hilbert was born on November 28, 1928 in Mathias, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Irvin Grant and Roxie Shipe See. She was employed by HD Lee Sewing, Rockingham Poultry and retired from the Timberville Drug Store. On March 24, 1978, she married William Hilbert who preceded her in death in February 2001. Surviving are two children, Ervin “Pee Wee” “Bugs” Kile and wife Debra of Singers Glen; Janet Thompson of Singers Glen, one brothers, Everett See of Harrisonburg; two sisters, Merlin Miller of Decatur, Georgia; Janet See of Alexandria; a granddaughter Cheryl Kile and two great grandchildren, Justice and Jasmine Hunter. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Layman See and Layton See. Reverend Richard DeLawder will conduct a funeral service Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. at the Independent Community Church. Burial will follow at Jenkins Chapel Cemetery in Mathias, WV. The casket will remain closed at the church, but will be open during the visitation. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6p.m. until 8 p.m. at the McMullen Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Organization of your choice. _________________________________________________
