Description	:	OBITUARY : LAYTON "SATE" ORVILLE SEE, 70, of Vetters Road, Timberville, Va., died Nov. 1, 2004, at his residence. He was born June 22, 1934, in Hardy County, W.Va., and was a son of the late Irvin Grant and Roxie Shipe See. He was a construction worker. He attended Bergton Gospel Center and was a U.S. Air Force veteran during the Korean Conflict from 1955-1957. On Feb. 25, 1961, he married the former Phyllis Showalter, who survives. He was preceded in death by an infant son. The Rev. Orsen Hensley will conduct a funeral service 1 p.m. Thursday at the Grandle Funeral Home chapel in Broadway. Burial will be in the Jenkins Chapel cemetery in Mathias. Friends may call anytime at the Grandle Funeral Home or the See residence.
