Amack, daughter of George and Edith Hudson, was born in Beaver City, Nebraska on March 7, 1894 and went to her Heavenly home on January 11, 1974 at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 27 days. Her early life was spent in Furnas County, Nebraska. She was baptized in the Christian Church in Nelson, Nebraska, at the age of 18 and transferred her membership to the First Baptist Church in Superior in September 1923. Amack, daughter of George and Edith Hudson, was born in Beaver City, Nebraska on March 7, 1894 and went to her Heavenly home on January 11, 1974 at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 27 days. Her early life was spent in Furnas County, Nebraska. She was baptized in the Christian Church in Nelson, Nebraska, at the age of 18 and transferred her membership to the First Baptist Church in Superior in September 1923. Here she was a faithful worker until May of 1973, when she moved to the Sprague Nursing Home in Red Cloud, Nebraska. On October 21, 1912 she was united in marriage to Robert D. Dixon at Wray, Colorado. To this union two daughters, Allene and Dorice were born. After Robert's death on June 10, 1918, she made her home in Bostwick, Nebraska, until her marriage to Clifford R. Amack on June 5, 1919, who became a loving Father to her two daughters. This union was blessed with two daughters, Marceline and Darlene and three sons, Raymond, Robert and George Ivan. She was preceeded (sic) in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Dorice, an infant son, George Ivan, five brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Allene (Mrs. Orville Giger) of Guide Rock, Marcelene (Mrs. Frank Olivera) of Saratoga, California, Darlene (Mrs. Leslie Hale) of Superior; two sons, Raymond of Superior and Robert of Woodland, California; daughters-in-law, Wanda and Norma; sons-in-law, Orville Gier, Frank Olivera and Leslie Hale; three sisters, Clara Robinson of Baldwin Park, California, Beulah Stark of Huntington Park, Illinois and Letha Ridpath of Monett, Missouri; one brother, Kiffler Hudson of Sparks, Nevada; twenty-one grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and also Armand Dedrick who made his home with his aunt and uncle for three years. Funeral services were held from the First Baptist Church in Superior on Monday, January 14. Pastor Albert Kleinsasser officiated. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery.
