Description	:	Mrs. Fern L. Westover, 94, 801 W. Martin St., died at 11:25 a.m. Thursday (April 3, 2008) at the Care Center of Abingdon. She was born Dec. 13, 1913, in Elliot, Iowa, the daughter of Benjamin F. "Frank" and Amanda Fisher Cozad. She married William E. Westover on July 5, 1932, in Marysville, Mo. She was born Dec. 13, 1913, in Elliot, Iowa, the daughter of Benjamin F. "Frank" and Amanda Fisher Cozad. She married William E. Westover on July 5, 1932, in Marysville, Mo. He preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 1956. She is survived by four daughters, Audrey F. Powell of Canton, Barbara and Karroll Combs of Fairview, Linda Case of Des Moines, Iowa, and Susan and Larry Trego of Monmouth; one daughter-in-law, Elaine Westover of Abingdon; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, William F. and Robert Westover; one granddaughter and one grandson. She graduated from Grant High School in Grant, Iowa, where she was valedictorian of her class. She was baptized in the Grant Iowa Methodist Church. She ran the Westover Caf� in London Mills for 10 years, then was a nurse's aide at the Galesburg Research Hospital for 21 years, retiring in 1974, then was a clerk for eight years at the Ben Franklin Store in Abingdon, retiring in 1986. She moved from Iowa in 1940 to the Avon and London Mills area before moving to Abingdon in 1963. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 7, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel, with the Rev. Paul Dinges and Eleanor Landon officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grant Cemetery in Grant, Iowa, with the Rev. Gerald Wiser officiating.
