That death certificate gave her parents' names as Perry and Myra Robison, the same named parents in her obituary, which I have transcribed below. (The death certificate information in ancestry.com has been incorrectly transcribed to show her maiden name as Robinson. By clicking on the image and looking at the certificate, it may be seen that the name was spelled Robison.) After... After further research, I concluded that Flora's maiden name was actually Robertson, and I changed her maiden name on this memorial and accepted the edit to her father. -------------- Obituary From "Ottumwa Daily Courier," November 10, 1945, Page 11: Mrs. Anna Johnson, 88, resident of Ottumwa for the past 4 years, died at 2 p.m. Friday at Ottumwa hospital. Her home is at 409 Ottumwa street. The daughter of Perry and Myra Robison [sic], she was born in Mercer county, Mo., May 7, 1857. She was a member of the Finley Avenue Baptist church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Louise Lindquist, Ottumwa; three sons, William Johnson, San Luis Rey, Calif., Monte Johnson, Des Moines, and Richard Johnson, Creston, and six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Johnson, and a son, Clifford. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Johnson funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. Luther Childs of Centerville, assisted by the Rev. John Hastie. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Bohe, Verlin Johnson, Gene Skinner, Bernie Houk, Neil Woolman and Lt. Barney S. Toms.
