The following provided by Find A Grave contributor "Cara": The River Press, Fort Benton, Mont., 24 April 1940 Mrs. Flora Ann Rogers Passes Mrs. Flora Ann Rogers, wife of James C. Rogers, of near Geraldine, passed away at St. Clare hospital in this city at 11:45 p.m. last Wednesday evening, following an illness of only four days. Mrs. Rogers was brought to the local hospital following a stroke of paralysis but soon passed away. Flora Ann Green was born in Haywood county, North Carolina, on Jan. 23, 1885, and was 55 years, two months and 24 days of age. She was united in marriage to James C. Rogers at Clyde, North Carolina, in April 1917, and then came to Montana in the same year, where she and her husband have since resided. She was loved and respected by all who knew her and will be mourned by a large circle of friends. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband and four sisters and one brother, all residing in North Carolina, besides other relatives and many friends. The body was taken to Geraldine on Friday by Louther Mortuary, where funeral services were held at 2 o'clock in the community church and conducted by the Rev. Dan W. Brown, pastor of the Christian church in this city. Interment was made in Riverside cemetery.
