Born June 20, 1919 in Franklin County, Indiana she was the daughter of the late John & Katherine (Senefeld) Lohrey. She lived all of her life in Franklin County, Indiana. She was united in marriage to Harlan Underwood in 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1965. Read More	Florence B. Underwood, age 90, of Brookville, Indiana died Sunday, August 2, 2009 at Fayette Regional Health System in Connersville, Indiana. Born June 20, 1919 in Franklin County, Indiana she was the daughter of the late John & Katherine (Senefeld) Lohrey. She lived all of her life in Franklin County, Indiana. She was united in marriage to Harlan Underwood in 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1965. She retired in 1981 from the former Franklin Casket Company in Brookville, where she had been employed for over 40 years. She was a lifelong member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church; the Lutheran Womens Group; Fraternal Order of Eagles #1129 of Brookville Ladies Auxiliary; as well as the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by one sister, Virginia Hunt of Brookville, Indiana; several Nieces, Nephews and Great-Nieces & Nephews, and many good friends & neighbors. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Freda K. Kremp, Pauline E. Hertel Evans, Marie A. Kremp, Mabel M. Brackney; two brothers, Alfred G. Lohrey and Woodrow M. Lohrey. Rev. Gary W. Anderson, pastor of St. Thomas Lutheran Church, will officiate the Funeral Services on Wednesday, August 5, 2009, 10:00 A.M., at St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Brookville, with burial following in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville. Family & friends may visit from 6 till 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville. Memorial Contributions may be directed to St. Thomas Lutheran Church or the Franklin County E.M.S..
