Florence Emily Brockinton and Mr Albert W Ford were married on the 17th day of November 1915 and for the short space of fourteen months journeyed through life happily and peacefully but the death angel knowing this happy young bride to be too pure for this world came down and claimed her for a purer and better world. At the time of her death Mrs Ford was only twenty four years of age. She was the daughter of our good old friend Mr B O Brockinton formerly of Williamsburg county but who is now residing in Georgetown. Two sisters Mrs WJ Brockinton of Willson NC and Mrs JW Skinner of Georgetown and one brother Mr BO Brockinton Jr of Georgetown remain to grieve for their departed loved one. The entire family especially the grief stricken husband and infant have the deep and sincerest sympathy of the whole community. The funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at Duncan Memorial Church at four o'clock in the presence of a large crowd of friends and relatives. Rev JC Collum pastor of the First Baptist church conducted the services being assisted by Rev LL Bedenbaugh pastor of Duncan Methodist church. The remains were taken to Elmwood Cemetery and laid to rest until the resurrection morn.
