Born August 15, 1924 in Attleboro, MA she was the daughter of the late Raould and Florence (Ousley) Paquin. Florence worked at the Lambert Company in Attleboro and for Engelhard Industries in Plainville both for many years. Surgens, 90 of Attleboro passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at the Golden Living Center, Attleboro. She was the wife for 62 years to the late Richard Surgens. Born August 15, 1924 in Attleboro, MA she was the daughter of the late Raould and Florence (Ousley) Paquin. Florence worked at the Lambert Company in Attleboro and for Engelhard Industries in Plainville both for many years. She also was a co-owner of Fwet & Rosebuds Coffee Shop in the Hebronville section of Attleboro. Florence resided in New Smyrna Beach, FL for 20 years before moving back to Attleboro 6 years ago. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed dancing, knitting, cooking and cheering on the New England Patriots. She is survived by her children, Sandra and her husband Douglas Cerreto of South Attleboro, David Surgens and his wife Joan of Attleboro; five grandchildren, Channa Cerreto, Scott Surgens, Ryan Surgens, Richard Surgens III and Kimberly Bossian; 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Richard Surgens Jr. and sister of the late Vera Pelletier and Hilda Lanthier. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, Attleboro.
