Read More	Vera M. Pelletier, 90, of Woodchip Square, North Attleborough, died on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond S. Pelletier to whom she had been married to for 56 years. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on June 22, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Raould and Florence (Ousley) Paquin. She was raised and educated in Attleboro where she was a graduate of Attleboro High School. She remained a resident of her native community until moving to North Attleborough in 1981. She was a dedicated and devoted homemaker to her family and worked along side her husband for more than 40 years in the Raymond Pelletier & Son Company in Attleboro. For decades, Mrs. Pelletier was a communicant of the former St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church in Attleboro where she was a member of the Women's Guild. She was a recipient of the Marian Medal from the Dioceses of Fall River in 1969. An active community volunteer in the Attleboro villages of Dodgeville and Hebronville, she was the former president of the Hebronville Community Association, served as PTA President for the Finberg Elementary School, and as a Girl Scout Troop Leader for Plymouth Bay troop 40. She was an arts and crafts teacher at Camp Shady Pines in North Attleborough and the Arts and Crafts Director for Camp Edith Read in the Norton village of Chartley. She received a 50 year service pin from the Girl Scouts. She was also a member and served as trustee of the North Attleboro Emblem Club. She was renown for her baking skills by family, friends, and the many groups who would be in need of baked goods for their festivities. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting varied items which she also donated. Her gingerbread Christmas villages in her home on South Main Street were toured each year by the Finberg School children. She made all the school clothes and dance costumes for her daughters and passed this skill on to them. She leaves a daughter: Carol A. Peterson and her husband, Paul O. Peterson, of South Yarmouth; grandchildren: Jonathan Mikulis, Jason Mikulis, Brian Pelletier, Dawn Ilic, Paul Peterson, Eric Peterson, Christopher Dulude and Kimberly Dulude; two great grandchildren: Haley Peterson and Michael Ilic; a sister: Florence Surgens of Attleboro and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. She was the mother of the late Donna L. Pelletier, Raymond J. Pelletier, Pamela A. Mikulis and Deborah L. Dulude. She was the sister of the late Hilda Lanthier.
