Description	:	Services for Florence Irene Petry, 88, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 1, 1998, at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Atchison. Mrs. Petry died Wednesday, July 15, 1998, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 14, 1909, in Leoti, the daughter of Albert Milton and Mary Maybelle McCormick Adamson. In 1940, Mrs. Petry moved to Atchison, where she worked at the S.S. Kresge Store. She also was a nurse's aide for the Atchison Hospital for many years. She married Ernest Franklin Petry on Sept. 14, 1933, in Smith Center. He died March 5, 1973. Survivors include two sons, Ernest Petry, Lawrence, and Veron Petry, Blaine, Minn.; two sisters, Alberta Pinnick, Lincoln, and Dorothy Raba, Fort Lupton, Colo.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
