Description	:	BEULAH — Long time Beulah resident, Florence Pfliger, 93, died Dec. 3, 2012, in Denver. Services will be held at 2 p.m. CST Sunday, Dec. 9, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Beulah, with the Rev. Kris Nyman officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Beulah. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Sunday at the church. She was born Jan. 5, 1919, in Mannhaven to Alexander and Elisa Mohl. She was married to Carl Schnaidt in December 1938. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Sunday at the church. She was born Jan. 5, 1919, in Mannhaven to Alexander and Elisa Mohl. She was married to Carl Schnaidt in December 1938. Their first farm was a rental property just outside Beulah. Shortly thereafter, they bought his retiring mother's nearby farm where they lived for nearly 50 years until Carl's passing in 1988. Carl and Florence had three sons and a daughter: Loran and wife, Sandy, St. Louis, Mo., Laura Schnaidt, Denver, Alden and wife, Dee, Raleigh, N.C., and Don and wife Tween, Denver. In addition to their children she is survived by two brothers; four sisters; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. Florence moved into Beulah after the homestead was sold. She married Frank Pfliger in February 1992. They lived in Beulah until 2008 when they moved to Denver to be closer to family members. She remained in Denver after Frank's passing in May 2012. Florence was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Carl; her second husband, Frank; five brothers; and two sisters.
