Born Feb. 7, 1922, Mrs. White was a graduate of Mount Ulla High School. She was loyal member of Christ Episcopal Church. When friends came to her home, she never let anyone go hungry. White BELMONT - Kathleen Anderson White, formerly of Salisbury, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, June 22, 2008. Born Feb. 7, 1922, Mrs. White was a graduate of Mount Ulla High School. She was loyal member of Christ Episcopal Church. When friends came to her home, she never let anyone go hungry. She loved to entertain, go fishing with family and cook. She was a loving wife, caring mother and giving grandmother (our Mimi). Mrs. White was employed in sales with Belk Stores for many years and at one time worked in the office of Dr. James Mitchell. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. Her husband, Joseph B. White "J.B.," preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 1997. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by parents Marshall Mott and Nannie Mae Anderson of Bear Poplar. She is survived by devoted daughter Jan White Richardson and husband Don of Belmont; grandchildren Jennifer Blair Richardson of Concord, Anna Richardson Henson of Belmont and Ryan White Richardson and wife Chastity of Belmont; great-grandchildren Alexis Kathleen Henson, Braydan Blair Richardson-Jackson and Regan White Richardson; siblings Grady Anderson and wife Peggy of Ga., Edith Schulenberger of Salisbury and Martha Graham and husband Bill of Mooresville; brother-in-law Frank White of Salisbury; sister-in-law May White of Greensboro; and many nephews and nieces. Visitation and Service: Family will receive friends on Tuesday at Christ Episcopal Church from 2-3 p.m. Funeral to follow in the sanctuary at 3 p.m. with Rev. Kenneth H. Saunders officiating. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Robin Johnson House, C/o, Gaston Hospice, PO Box 3984, Gastonia, N.C. 28054 or Christ Episcopal Church, PO Box 37, Cleveland, N.C. 27013.
