Adolph Lillich, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Carl Jorgensen, Dale Carpenter, Merwin Zepf, Arley Sorensen, Robert Nelsen and Carl Andersen. Floyd Andrew Nielsen, youngest son of Andrew C. and Martha Nielsen, was born June 23, 1917 at Winnetoon, where he grew to manhood. He was baptized and confirmed in Bethesda Lutheran Church in Winnetoon. He was united in marriage to Bernice Hansen on June 23, 1937 at Winnetoon. To this union were born four children, all of whom survive. They lived on the home place for a few years and then moved to the farm southwest of Creighton, where he lived until his death. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Creighton. He attended the services regularly and was a member of the Brotherhood, holding the office of treasurer at the time of his death. He enjoyed good health until several months ago. He was 38 years of age at the time of his passing. Mr. Nielsen was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Ryan, in 1936 and his mother in 1953. He is survived by his wife, Bernice and four children, Floydean, DaLoy, Janne and Glenn, all of whom are living at home; his father, Andrew C. Nielsen of Creighton; four brothers, Ervin of Canon City, Colo., Emil of Everly, Ia., Harry of Callender, Ia. and George of Creighton and one sister, Mrs. Victor (Olga) Engberg of Belview, Minn.
