He was born Feb. 2, 1924, in Glynwood, to Edgar and Flora Flarida Craft. On Nov. 22, 1939, he married Delores Wilkens who died Feb. 19, 2002. Surviving are two sons, Roger (Jacqueline) of Lima and Tom of St. Marys; a daughter, Janet (John) Riggenbach, Columbus Grove; his stepmother, Jwilva Craft, St. Marys; two half brothers, David (Lynn) and James (Sheila), all of St. Marys; two half sisters, Carol (Bob) Waesch, St. Marys, and Donna (David) Shreiner, Millersburg; eight grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Deceased are a son, Harvey Edgar; a brother, Dale; and a grandson. He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys, and did funeral home and ambulance work for Yoder Funeral Home, Long and Folk Funeral Home and Miller Funeral Home. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he was a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church and American Legion Post 323, both of St. Marys, the Ohio State Highway Patrol Auxiliary and the Holiday Ramblers. He also was a former member of the Lima Motorcycle Club. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Ron Spurgeon officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
