Description	:	Floyd H. Andersen, one of 10 children, was born to Zacharias and Kathrine Dalskar Andersen in Mt. Clare, Neb., June 12, 1915. He died Oct. 4 in Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital, Superior, at the age of 74 years, 3 months and 22 days. He was raised at Mt. Clare and attended Mt. Clare school. Honorably discharged Feb. 2, 1946, he returned to Superior where he married Sara Jo Shipman. This union was blessed with one son, John Michael. He was employed as an auctioneer in the Superior area for several years. Andersen purchased a half interest in the Morris Motor Company, which became Morris-Andersen Motor Company. He sold his interest in 1971 and continued his farming-ranching operation south of Superior. Charalois (sic) cattle and farming were his main interests. Andersen was a member of St. Mihiel American Legion Post 103, a charter member of Superior Elks Lodge, No. 2197, of which he was an honorary founder, past exalted ruler and past state tiler, a member of Eagles Lodge, No. 3101, and a member of Danish Brotherhood Lodge No. 161, and a past state president. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sara Jo; three brothers, Andrew, Soren and Nick Andersen; four sisters, Johanna Powell, Mary Hiatt, Hazel Winebar and Anna Moffett. Survivors include his son, Dr. Michael Andersen, Lincoln; one sister, Esther Herrmann, Superior; one brother, Eynner Andersen, Superior; four grandchildren, London, Jonnie, Austin and Sierra Andersen; and many other relatives. The funeral was Friday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m., from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ken Fairbrother officiating.
