Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Silver Creek. The Rev. Bev Minor will officiate. Burial will be in the Silver Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Sunday at McKowns Funeral Home in Silver Creek. He graduated in 1931 from Silver Creek High School. He lived in Silver Creek most of his life. He was retired from the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant. He was also a farmer and a firefighter. He married Delpha Pickett on June 3, 1936. Mrs. Frizzell died on Aug. 9, 1954. He married Irene Chinn on Dec. 31, 1965, at the Methodist Church in Silver Creek. He was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church in Silver Creek, an active member of the Silver Creek Golden Age Club and the Masons. He enjoyed fishing and bowling. Survivors include his wife, Irene; two sons, Larry Frizzell of Littleton, Colo., and Bruce Frizzell of Silver Creek; two stepsons, Randy Chinn of Columbus and Rod Chinn of Silver Creek; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren. In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by one sister, Zola Finecy; and one brother, Dale Frizzell. The Grand Island Independent, July 31, 1999
