Description	:	Floyd M. Adair, 80, of Olney Springs, died Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at his home. Graveside services were held Wednesday at the Valley View Cemetery in Ordway with Pastor Ted Williams officiating. Visitation was Tuesday at Ford Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford. Visitation was Tuesday at Ford Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford. Floyd was born May 22, 1940 in Olney Springs to Elmer and Hazel (Williams) Adair. He grew up and received his education at Olney Springs, graduating from Olney Springs High School. Floyd married Barbara Ann Call on May 24, 1960 and to this union, four sons were born. Barbara died on Sept. 5, 1977. Floyd worked in sporting goods for many years at K-Mart in Green Mountainand Al's Sporting Goods in Arvada. He later began working at Eagle Gypsum Dry Wall Plant in Gypsum, until his retirement in 1997. Floyd joined his brother, Bill, working in his cabinet shop. Floyd married Natasha Meshagen in 1994 and resided in Olney Springs until his death. He was an avid outdoors-man and went hunting, fishing and camping whenever possible and was a master at tying flies. Floyd was a big Denver Broncos fan and always served his homemade ice cream at local events. Floyd was a member of the Arkansas Valley SDA Church in Swink for many years and served as deacon. Floyd is survived by his wife, Natasha of Olney Springs, sons Kenneth Adair of Colorado Springs, Marvin (Tena) Adair of Silt and Dennis (Brenda) Adair of Palisade, three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brother Bill (Debbie) Adair of Olney Springs, sister Dorothy Wittman of Olney Dprings, sisters-in-law Helen Adair of Virginia and Delphia Adair of Texas, and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Floyd was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, son Terry Adair, parents, sister Ruth Niswonger and Howard Wittman, brothers Woodson, John, Dale, and Roy Adair, and sisters-in-law Wilmina, Sandra, Sue, and Bobbie.
