Description	:	Floyd V. Friesen, 85, retired farmer and Farmers Co-Op feed truck driver, died Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Via Christi St. Francis Medical Center, Wichita. He was born October 3, 1929, at Halstead, to Pete E. and Margaret (Giesbrecht) Friesen. He was member of Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead, and served as a volunteer at Moundridge Manor, Halstead Health and Rehabilitation and delivered meals for the Halstead Senior Center Meals program. Survivors include sons: Galen (Marla) Friesen, Jerry (Verla) Friesen and Russell (Charlene) Friesen, all of Halstead; daughters: Vickie (Lynn) Koehn, Grafton, ND; Bonnie (Marlin) Schmidt, Grant, NE; sister: Velda Toews, Moundridge; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brother, Orville; infant brother, John; and a sister, Malinda Unruh. Friends called Monday, February 16, 2015, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Visitation was Monday at Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at Grace Mennonite Church, with Ministers Marlin Unruh, Stanley Wiggers, Dean Becker and Kenneth Smith presiding. Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery, Halstead.
