Description	:	From The Wolbach Messenger, August 22, 1974, transcribed by Linda Berney: Floyd Verdin Glines was born January 14, 1915 near Wolbach, the son of Charles W. and Mary B. Rogers Glines. He received his education near Cushing and grew to manhood in that area. On January 6, 1941 he was married to Velma Boesen at Wolbach, Nebraska. Floyd farmed first near Wolbach and later at Scotia. He was a member of the NFO and the United Methodist Church. Due to failing health he retired from farming in 1970. He departed from this life... He received his education near Cushing and grew to manhood in that area. On January 6, 1941 he was married to Velma Boesen at Wolbach, Nebraska. Floyd farmed first near Wolbach and later at Scotia. He was a member of the NFO and the United Methodist Church. Due to failing health he retired from farming in 1970. He departed from this life on Sunday August 18, 1974 at the Howard County Community Hospital in St. Paul at the age of 59 years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James (Lyla) Stilson of Grand Island and Mrs. Mack (Twila) Allen of Central City; two sons, Howard E. of Scotia and Clyde D. of Grand Island, five sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Watson of Homedale, Idaho, Mrs. Ida Quillen of Sun Valley, California, Mrs. Lettie Willard of Lander, Wyoming, Mrs. Lela Osborn of Gillette, Wyoming and Mrs. Fern Studley of Wolbach; two brothers, Charles and Ruel Glines of St. Paul and five grandchildren. Preceding in death were his parents, three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Cook, Mrs. Maude Higgins, Mrs. Ethel Shaw and three brothers, Earl, Ed and Harry, and a granddaughter, Angel Dawn.
