Description	:	Forrest Wayne Leksell, son of Eric Alfred and Hilda Rehnblom Leksell, was born Dec. 16, 1912 on a farm near Bells Mill. He was reared and educated in that area and graduated from Webster City High School in 1930. On Jan. 20, 1940, he married Mary Louise Schaeffer at the First Baptist Church in Webster City. Read More	Forrest Wayne Leksell, son of Eric Alfred and Hilda Rehnblom Leksell, was born Dec. 16, 1912 on a farm near Bells Mill. He was reared and educated in that area and graduated from Webster City High School in 1930. On Jan. 20, 1940, he married Mary Louise Schaeffer at the First Baptist Church in Webster City. The couple farmed 1½ miles west of Webster City until 1962, when they moved to Washington D.C. He was a hotel manager at the Dodge House there. In 1967, the couple moved to Anna Marie Island, before moving back to Iowa in 1976 when he retired. Survivors include his wife; a son and a daughter-in-law, Lynn Forrest and Deb Leksell of Webster City; one son, Larry Wayne Leksell of Webster City; three grandchildren, Heidi Louise Leksell of Iowa City and Roberta Lynn and Elizabeth Ann Leksell of Webster City; one sister, Pauline Goranson of Knoxville, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, one grandson and his parents. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Webster City, the Past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge, the Past District Deputy of the Northwest Iowa Elks and was a member of the Acacia Lodge No. 176 AF & AM of Webster City.
