Description	:	Funeral services for Eric A. Leksell, 71, will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday at the Lutheran church in Stratford with Rev. S.W. Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery with McCauley-Chapman's funeral home in charge. Mr. Leksell died at 5 a.m. Friday in Mercy hospital, Des Moines. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery with McCauley-Chapman's funeral home in charge. Mr. Leksell died at 5 a.m. Friday in Mercy hospital, Des Moines. He had been seriously ill for the past two months following a fall from an apple tree at his farm home south of this city. He was under treatment at Hamilton county hospital for two weeks and was then taken to Mercy hospital where he was hospitalized for six weeks. Eric Alfred Leksell, son of Andrew and Margaret Leksell, was born Sept. 22, 1877, on the farm eight miles north of Stratford where he spent his entire life. He attended school in that community. On Nov. 25, 1909, he was married to Hilda Rehnblom at Stratford. A member of the Lutheran church in Stratford, he served as secretary of that church for more than 50 years and was also a deacon for many years. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Gunnar Goranson of Crystal Falls, Mich.; as son, Forrest Leksell of Webster City; three grandsons; two granddaughters and two sisters, Mrs. J.E. Carlson and Miss Marie Leksell, both of Minneapolis, Minn. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, A.M. Leksell, and a sister, Mrs. Edwin Barquist..
