Limestone St., died Friday, Oct. 2, 1992, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center. ~ A native of Cherokee County, she was the wife of E.V. Lester and daughter of the late John A. and Carree McCraw Allison. Limestone St., died Friday, Oct. 2, 1992, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center. ~ A native of Cherokee County, she was the wife of E.V. Lester and daughter of the late John A. and Carree McCraw Allison. She was a homemaker and a member of Grassy Pond Baptist Church. ~ Also surviving are three sons, Woodrow Lester, Louis Lester and William Lester, all of Gaffney; two daughters, Doris Blanton and Mary Allison, both of Gaffney; one sister, Millie Sarratt of Gaffney; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. ~ Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Grassy Pond Bapitst Church conducted by the Rev. Tom Turner. Burial was in the church cemetery. ~ Pallbearers were Jimmy Lester, Michael Lester, Johnny Lester, Arnold Blanton, Ronnie Blanton, Wayne McCraw, Paul Lester and Bill Lester. ~ Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home was in charge.
