Description	:	Frances E. Dalby, 85, Burlington, formerly of Westphalia, died Sunday, March 23, 2003, at a Burlington hospital. She was born July 24, 1917, in Colorado, to John Henry and Frances P. Kauzlarich Dalby. She moved to Burlington in 1920 and to a farm northeast of Burlington a year later. She graduated from Burlington High School in 1936. She taught in rural Kansas schools for five years. She moved to California, where she worked for federal civil service. Dalby, 85, Burlington, formerly of Westphalia, died Sunday, March 23, 2003, at a Burlington hospital. She was born July 24, 1917, in Colorado, to John Henry and Frances P. Kauzlarich Dalby. She moved to Burlington in 1920 and to a farm northeast of Burlington a year later. She graduated from Burlington High School in 1936. She taught in rural Kansas schools for five years. She was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Westphalia. A brother, Harry Dalby, Williamsburg, Va.; and a sister, Ellen Dalby, Westphalia, survive. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Westphalia. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Burlington. Miss Dalby will lie in state from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Westphalia, 66093.
