Description	:	It is with great sadness that the family of Frances Gertrude Marguerite Byers,78, of Lunenburg, announce her passing on Monday, June 28, 2010 at Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in First South, she was a daughter of the late Guilford and Grace (Langille) Bezanson. In her earlier years, Frances worked at National Sea and then later at the Dominion Store in Lunenburg. She was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg, where she was a former member of the church choir and the ELW. Born in First South, she was a daughter of the late Guilford and Grace (Langille) Bezanson. In her earlier years, Frances worked at National Sea and then later at the Dominion Store in Lunenburg. She was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg, where she was a former member of the church choir and the ELW. For over 20 years Frances enjoyed bowling in the Ladies' Kippers Bowling League and was a member of the Fishermen's Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. Family was an important part of her life, especially treasuring time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and baking, watching curling, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her little dog, Abby. Frances is survived by husband, Angus; sons, Richard (Bernadette), Lunenburg; Stephen (Margo Forrester), Innisfail, Alberta; brother, Douglas (Joan) Bezanson, Bridgewater; grandchildren, Laura, Michelle, Nicole, Olivia, and Philicity and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Charlotte and brother, Borden. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. A service to celebrate Frances' life will be held Friday at 11:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg, Rev. Vivian S. Roberts, officiating. Interment at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg. Flowers from the immediate family only, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Zion Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice. www.sweenyfuneralhome.ca
