Saporito Grimaldi, 96, 1005 Centennial, died at 3 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2001, at Beverly Healthcare. She was born Sept. 29, 1904, in Mineral, the daughter of Antone and Mary Zammons Sigler. She attended area schools. On Dec. 13, 1925, she was united in marriage to Mike Saporito in Columbus. He preceded her in death on Oct. 6, 1964. She later married Alex Grimaldi Sr. on May 12, 1980, in Miami, Okla. He preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 1990. Mrs. Grimaldi was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pittsburg. Survivors include one son, Michael Saporito of Scammon; three daughters, Ruth Bradney, Delores Bolinger and Anna Mae Hicks, all of Pittsburg; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters and a granddaughter, Melissa Saporito. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Stroot as celebrant. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery. Parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home. Family will receive friends following the rosary. The family will be at the home of Delores Bolinger, 1914 S. Stillwell.
