Description	:	Frances was born February 8, 1920, in Adams County, Colorado, the daughter of Bud and Martha Murphy Kinzie. She graduated from Douds-Leando Consolidated School in 1937 and went on to attend Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls and AIB College of Business in Des Moines. In 1940, Frances was united in marriage with Stanley C. Crawford. He lost his life during the Battle of Corregidor during WWII in the Philippines. In 1946, she was united in marriage with Anthony W. She graduated from Douds-Leando Consolidated School in 1937 and went on to attend Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls and AIB College of Business in Des Moines. In 1940, Frances was united in marriage with Stanley C. Crawford. He lost his life during the Battle of Corregidor during WWII in the Philippines. In 1946, she was united in marriage with Anthony W. Lynch. He preceded her in death in 1984. She worked as a bookkeeper and secretary in banks throughout much of her life. Frances was very active in her church and community. She was a lifelong member of the Brandon United Methodist Church. For many years she was a member of Farm Bureau and Farm Bureau Women; Vinton’s VFW Post 8884 Ladies Auxiliary; the American Legion Auxiliary; the Red Hat Society and Historical Society of Brandon; and she was a lifetime member of the Gold Star Wives of America. Frances loved her church, and she also loved children. She was a foster parent to many children over the years. She loved people and had many, many friends, and she also loved to travel. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; two sons, Timothy and Michael Lynch; two foster daughters, Diana and Debbie; two brothers and one sister.
