Description	:	Frances Leila Locke’s life began Dec. 1, 1922 as the first of three daughters born to Clark and Elsie Dwyer. Eighty-seven years later on June 19, 2010, God took her home to begin a joyful eternity united with her Savior, and reunited with her husband Eldon and their son Ted, and her father and mother. Frances and Eldon Locke were married Nov. 22, 1941 and brought two sons into this world, Ted and Richard. Frances is survived by one son, Richard Locke and wife Sue; daughter-in-law, Dana Locke McEachern; two sisters, Ruth Bongard of Bellevue, Wash., and Virginia (Billie) Powers of Stillwater, Okla.; six grandchildren, Chris Locke and Wife Alison, Gary Locke and wife Kristine, Kelli (Locke) Bullock and husband David, Steve Locke and wife Irene, Keith Locke and wife Marsha, and Paige (Locke) Toates; 20 great-grandchildren, Ryan Locke, Chase Locke, Christian Locke, Levi Grove, Adam Locke, Amber Locke, Erin Locke, Matthew Locke, Joshua Locke, Jeremy Locke, Jonathan Locke, Alexis Locke, Whitney and Madison Vinyard, Brady Farner, Christopher Bullock, Drake Bullock, Chandler Toates, Conner Toates and Cooper Toates; two great-great grandchildren, Isabella and Lennon Farner; and a large extended family. Frances joyously received Jesus Christ as her Savior in November 1973 and gladly and gratefully lived her life in Jesus to bless other people’s lives. Her love for and service to her husband, her family, her Temple Baptist Church family and friends was truly wonderful to observe and receive. Besides being an outstanding mother and farmer’s wife, Frances worked for Citizen’s State Bank in El Dorado for a number of years. She worked with Eldon when they owned Butler County Implement in El Dorado and Frances later worked at La Forge’s. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Temple Baptist Church, located at 925 Douglas Rd., El Dorado. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Kirby-Morris Funeral Home is helping the family with the services.
