She graduated from Aroostook Normal School, Gordon College in Wenham, MA.and received a masters degree in religious education at Hartford Seminary Foundation. She served Methodist churches in Rochester, NY., Meriden, CT. and the West Hartford Church of Christ (Congregational). She taught in the Greater Boston Council... She had been a long time member of the Greater St. Petersburg Council for Human Relations, an active member of Common Cause and a member of the Pasadena Community Church in St. Petersburg. She is survived by a nephew, Lawrence Park of Presque Isle and a niece, Mary Caroline McPherson of Patten, 9 grand nieces and grand nephews. She was the last member of the Rev. George Park family. Their homestead on a farm, next to UMPI, later became Park Hall, dedicated to the Park family. This was made possible by Mrs. Allens brother, the late Clinton DeWitt Park. Burial Fairmount cemetery.
