Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in St. Edward. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in St. Edward. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the United Methodist Church in St. Edward. Visitation will resume from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. Miller-Levander Funeral Home of St. Edward is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Matzen was born in Fremont, Iowa, on May 15, 1914, daughter to Norman and Olive (Bryan) Rockey. She graduated from St. Edward High School in 1932. Following high school, she attended Midland College for one year. She married Gordon Matzen May 15, 1936, at the Presbyterian Church in St. Edward. They lived and farmed near St. Edward until 1962. In 1963, they moved into St. Edward. Frances moved to Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward on March 18.
