Description	:	IN MEMORY OF FRANCES CATHERINE ROBBERTS Frances Catherine Robberts, 68, of rural Cumberland died Sunday, July 17, 1983 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, where she had been a patient nearly two months. The daughter of Carl and Ida Johansen Sorenson, she was born May 26, 1915, at Atlantic. She lived with her parents south of Grant, was graduated from Grant High School, and was married March 25, 1942, to Raldon Robberts and they farmed southeast of Lyman. Read More	IN MEMORY OF FRANCES CATHERINE ROBBERTS Frances Catherine Robberts, 68, of rural Cumberland died Sunday, July 17, 1983 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, where she had been a patient nearly two months. The daughter of Carl and Ida Johansen Sorenson, she was born May 26, 1915, at Atlantic. She lived with her parents south of Grant, was graduated from Grant High School, and was married March 25, 1942, to Raldon Robberts and they farmed southeast of Lyman. She had worked at Neighbors Nursing Home and Martens Manor in Griswold until 1977. Mrs. Robberts was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. Surviving are her husband; a son, Kenneth Robberts of Griswold; a daughter, Carol Preston of New London; six grandchildren, and a brother, Alve Sorenson of Oakland, Oregon. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cathy Sue Preston. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ with Pastor Harold Schaible officiating. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery with Wagler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Shelly Steinbeck was organist and David Steinbeck was soloist. In charge of flowers were Mrs. Earl Sasse, Mrs. Letha Martens, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Billings and Mrs. George McCormick. Bearers were Lyle Hartmann, Dean Schuler, Lawrence Wohlenhaus, Earl Sasse, Donald Steinbeck and Wayne Steinbeck. Obituary courtesy of Carol Preston
