Memorials were suggested to be made to the Baptist Church. She was born Frances W. Fisher, born on April 28, 1899 in Springfield, Missouri to John Fisher and Ellen Gettier Fisher. She attended school in Kansas City, Missouri. She attended and graduated from Hight School in Comstock, Nebraska. On September 26, 19__(year not shown) she married James Yockey in Lincoln, Nebraska. They farmed in the Comstock, Nebraska area. They then farmed in the Dunning, Nebraska area before moving to a farm north of Gibbon, Nebraska in the 1940s. In 1971 they retired and they moved into Gibbon. She was a member of the Gibbon Baptist Church and of the Gibbon Extension Club. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988 and also by seven brothers and four sisters. Survivors include three sons, James Yockey of Redland, California, Robert of Montesano, Washington and Dean of Gibbon, and by one daughter, Marian Clevenger of Gibbon, Nebraska, and by eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and by five great-great-grandchildren and other relatives.
