Burial will be in the Ames cemetery. Morrissey lived in Ames all his life. He attended Iowa State college during the school years 1927-28 and 1928-29 and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Members of the fraternity said today that they would, attend the services in a body. Morrissey is survived by his parents and three brothers and,four sisters. They are Vincent of Iowa City, Veronica of New York and Adeline, Eustacia, Joan, Jerry and Daniel at home. AMES DAILY TRIBUNE-TIMES, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, February 18, 1930. Burial will be in the Ames cemetery. Morrissey lived in Ames all his life. He attended Iowa State college for two years and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Obit by iagenweb: FRANCIS MORRISSEY RITES THIS MORNING Approximately 600 friends, associates, fraternity and lodge brothers and relatives attended funeral services for Francis Morrissey, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Morrlssey, 721 Wilson avenue, at the St Cecilia's Roman Catholic church Tuesday mornlng at 10 o'clock. Burial was In the Ames cemetery. Mr. Morrissey died suddenly Saturday evening of pneumonia. He Had spent all his life in Ames. For two years he attended Iowa State college where he became a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon social fraternity. His fraternity brothers attended in a body as did the Ames post, American Legion, and Knights of Columbus. Morrissey had one of the leading parts is an American Legion play given recently. Pall bearers were Herman Cole, Donald Beam, Dan McCarthy, Edward Judge and James Radabaugh of Ames and Leon Flack of Iowa City. Radabaugh was a fraternity brother. Services were conducted by Father Entrlhger. E. T. Buck played the organ and the choir sang several selections.
