Description	:	Francis Eugene "Gene" Larsen entered into rest on April 4, 2011 at Grandview Health Care Center. He was born on April 5, 1927 to Knute Christian and Blanche Ethel (Harvey) Larsen in Richland where he was raised until moving to Prosser 1943. He served in the US Army during World War II. Gene and Lillian I. Stultz were married in 1972 in Prosser where they continued to live on his farm on North River Road until moving into town. He was born on April 5, 1927 to Knute Christian and Blanche Ethel (Harvey) Larsen in Richland where he was raised until moving to Prosser 1943. He served in the US Army during World War II. Gene and Lillian I. Stultz were married in 1972 in Prosser where they continued to live on his farm on North River Road until moving into town. After leaving the farm, he drove a tour bus and also farmed on the Horse Heaven Hills. He was a member of the Prosser Seventh Day Adventist Church and Buena Vista Grange. Francis is survived by his step-daughter, Rose Amack and husband, Loren of Prosser; his sisters, Alberta of Moses Lake and Emma of Kennewick; his brother, Louie of Milwaukee, Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Knute and Blanche Larsen; his wife, Lillian I. (Stultz) Larsen; his step-dad, Jonas Martin; his sister, Cora; his brother, Carl; and his step-sons, Ernest, John and Jerry Patheal. A memorial service with Full Military Honors will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Prosser. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Buena Vista Grange c/o Prosser Funeral Home.
